M75 is a globular cluster in the constellation Sagittarius. It is one of the more remote globulars, over 61000 light-years away and as much as 100000 according to some sources. Quite centrally condensed, it is also large and bright (over 100 light-years across and a couple of hundred thousand times as bright as the Sun). This image was created from data taken in October 1998 at the KPNO 0.9-meter telescope. Image size 9.1 arc minutes.
