This beautiful globular cluster is bright and can make a great binocular object under good viewing conditions. However, it is very often skipped in favor of its neighbor, M13. M92 is one of the oldest known globular clusters, at over 14 billion years in age. This image was taken as part of Advanced Observing Program (AOP) program at Kitt Peak Visitor Center during 2014.
