M93 is an open star cluster in the constellation Puppis. A small but bright system, it contains maybe 100 members spread over some 25 light-years in diameter, at a distance of around 3500 light-years. CCD color composite from data taken on the nights of September 20th and 21st 1997 (UT), at the Burrell Schmidt telescope of Case Western Reserve University's Warner and Swasey Observatory. The Burrell Schmidt is located on Kitt Peak, near Tucson, Arizona.
