NGC 457 is an open cluster located in the constellation Cassieopeia. It is easily found in small telescopes, and a favorite for amateur astronomers who can imagine the nicknames of Owl Cluster and ET. The two bright stars in the upper left make up the eyes of ET. This image was taken as part of Advanced Observing Program (AOP) program at Kitt Peak Visitor Center during 2014.
